There are so many beautiful ways to have your photos taken and the setting is sometimes as important as what you're wearing or not wearing... There is something so refreshing about taking nude and intimate portraits and even more freeing when it's outside. My clients have all sorts of requests and I try to grant their wishes as often as I can. This time of the year it's very common to have a client request a private and secluded setting outside. As a photographer, you have to be very careful when taking intimate or sexy photos outside especially if it's in a place where other people can see. So it's extremely important to have a property that you can rent, borrow and beg.
Location Location Location
Here in middle Tennessee, we are very spoiled with our seasons. Giving us a plethora of stunning locations and scenery to enjoy. However, as a photographer, we tend to stick to the same 2 or 3 favorite locations because we become one with those locations. We know just the perfect spot when the sun will touch your skin at just the right angle or when the vibrant wildflowers will be in bloom.
Private Hidden Gem
So today I am going to share with you one of my hidden gems where I like to take clients that want complete privacy. My friend and fellow photographer Taylor shared this spot with me and now I am sharing it with you. Hidden and tucked away in the back of a residential neighborhood is a privately owned property. The owner immediately makes you feel like you're family and I just adore her in every way. I am able to offer so many different locations depending on what my client wants and the time of the year. On the property, we have so many locations to choose from ie: vineyards, blackberry and sunflower fields, a pond with a boat, cottages, creeks, forests and so much more.
When you book a photoshoot with me you have to be open-minded about going down to crazy-town with me because that's when we get the best shots. Sometimes they don't work out and guess what? You will never see those photos :) Let me show you a few examples. Do you want sexy photos of you on the water? Well, why not stick a bed in the middle of the creek? I get about 30 different angles just by walking around the bed plus it's really refreshing on a sunny day.
Or maybe you request a photo with a tractor in it. Yes ma'am, I am going to suggest sticking your fine ass up on the tractor.
Some clients worry about sweat. I don't. It actually looks amazing in photos and when you get too hot then I'm going to get you nice and wet...
